Have you seen the brand new Awana Store? Awana is thrilled to announce that the new online Awana Store is now LIVE at http://awana.org/store (and at the Shop Awana button above)! It’s been completely redesigned for you to make browsing and ordering more enjoyable. A bright, new look and convenient features are waiting to treat your family and church. Be among the first to check it out! And when you go, be sure to look at the helpful video on the home page.

Please note: All previous MCO and Store logins are now obsolete. If you have an ART login, that will work for the online Awana Store as well. If you've not created an ART account yet, you can register for an account on the store site.

We are excited to announce the launch of a special new Web site (www.awana60years.org) celebrating 60 years of God’s faithfulness in impacting young lives around the world through the ministry of Awana. This site reflects on the events, photos, and stories of Awana from the last 60 years, and will include an opportunity to share your own story about Awana.

Basic Training: Something for both new and veteran Awana leaders!

Whether you're getting ready for your first club year or your 60th, the new Awana Basic Training program has something for you. Participants will learn all the nuts and bolts of Awana, plus practical tools for discipline, recruiting volunteers, presenting the gospel, and much more.

Not only will you leave Basic Training ready to kick off your Awana Club, but you will also be spiritually renewed. The result is a sense of confidence and excitement about the upcoming club year while also igniting a passion for children's ministry.

Basic Training locations:
  • August 14 @ Westminster Bible Church - Westminster, MD
  • August 21 @ Montrose Baptist Church - Rockville, MD
  • August 28 @ Southview Baptist Church - Herndon, VA

Basic Training will not be offered at Fall Awana Ministry Conference this year so we encourage you to advantage of these trainings!

Basic Training is provided free of charge and anyone from your church is welcome to attend. The training is 8:00am-2pm. A light lunch will also be provided to registered attendees. Please register now!

MOPS Int'l and Awana Partnership!

We see this as a simple solution for busy families. Moms can bring their children to the Awana program where they will experience a Christian community with Christian adults and peers who care about them and where they can get to know God. Moms connect with other moms going through the same stage of life that they are. Moms will grow to have closer connection with the other moms and with the church. No more stop and go ... families stay and grow together through MOPS and Awana. [Read more...]
