All teams are accepted on a “first-come, first-paid” basis. All registrations must be postmarked two weeks prior to event (March 7, 2009). Late registering teams will be on a stand-by basis, subject to space availability and Missionary discretion.
Only one Trek 24-7 and one Journey 24-7 AwanaGames may be registered at a time. If space is available, additional teams may be submitted for consideration after the March 7th registration deadline. Churches will be notified if there is room for their stand-by team one week prior to event.
Registrations are not valid until the registration checks have been received by the correct registrar (listed below). Registrations are also non-refundable unless the event is cancelled. Please make checks payable to: Awana International.
Withdrawn registrations will not be not eligible for refunds and will also forfeit the ability to register more than one team the following year.
Teams will be assigned color line by event coordinator.
Color lines will not be given out until day of event. Please do not call the event coordinator and ask what color you are on. We reserve the right to change color lines up to the day of the event due to cancellations and space availability.
Teams may wear any color uniform they chose. They do not have to be Red, Blue, Green or Yellow but all members of a team must have matching uniforms or team will be required to wear supplied pinnies (sport vests).
Teams will be given temporary wrist bands that match their color line on the day of the event. All participants and coaches must wear the wrist band on their wrist during the entire event. Anyone found on the color line without a wrist band will have to leave the line and the team will lose sportsmanship points.
Trek Bible Quiz questions will come from the Trek Check Entrance Booklet and the first half of the current Trek Bible Study. Journey 24-7 Bible Quiz questions will come from the current main study, the Faith Foundations 1, and Bible Book Summaries (no questions will be asked from the electives).
NOTE: Coaches are not allowed on the game square during the event - sportsmanship points earned during each game will be not be awarded to teams with coaches on the circle.
Each team (or combined team) must provide one staff person to assist with number hanging, score keeping, or equipment handling (training will be provided).
Each church must complete and sign a copy of the Awana Event Participation Agreement before being allowed to participate in any sponsored Awana events. Please check out the Frequently Asked Questions page on this agreement or contact your Awana Missionary for more information. Note: once an agreement is on file, it is not required to resubmit them each year.
